Interior redecoration - Hull City Hall, highly commended prizewinner as nominated by the The Painting and Decorating Association at the Premier Trophy Awards 2005.
The contract for Hull City Hall involved the redecoration of the main entrance hall and staircase leading to first floor, where the Victorian bar and adjacent Crush Hall are situated.
Work included repainting, paperhanging, gilding, French polishing etc. This was all carried out to a high standard, whith the general painting being consistent and cleanly cut in. The paperhanging is worthy of speical mention, and the gold leaf gilding is solid and bright - text taken from The Painting and Decorating Association awards publication.
