'The contract fo Hull City Hall involved the redecoration of the main entrance hall and staircase leading to first floor, where the Victorian bar and adjacent Crush Hall are situated.
Work included 
repainting, paperhanging, gilding, French polishing etc. This was all carried out to a high standard, with the general painting being consistent and cleanly cut in. The paperhanging is worthy of a special mention, and the gold leaf gilding is solid and bright.
The contractor, Pittaway and Son, is committed to customer care and service and is a 'hands-on' contractor: so vital to the construction industry. The importance of good training is also well appreciated by this company. The painting contractor has provided a valued service in the restoration of a Listed Town Hall building.'
